THE CHEF

Chef/owner Jiro came to Lower Manhattan to open Domo sushi bar in the fall of 21, a very good season for sushi. His ingredients are sourced from all over the world. He will design two sets of Omakase and other a la carte sushi sets. This will be based on the availability of the products, the changing of seasons, as well as the magical imagination of the chef. Sushi Chefs and gourmet artists with rich years of experience and passion for life and work will provide youth a personalized and coveted sushi experience. Master Jiro studied in Tokyo, Japan in 1988 to hone his Japanese cuisine skills. He also worked as a supervisor and sushi chef in many famous hotels and resorts. After that, he founded his first Japanese sushi restaurant in New York City in the mid-1990s, with branches in Toronto, Hong Kong, and China. Presently, in response to the transformation of the traditional market, Master Jiro creates a new position for himself and his company as modern omakase creators. They eagerly await for you to try their food!
